Hilsam Company Limited is run by Hilary Perry together with her family and multi-lingual staff.

With nearly 50 years experience between them they have a complete understanding of the Childcare needs of families in the United Kingdom.

Au Pairs by Avalon (Est. 1954), Au Pairs of Surrey, European Au Pairs and The Linden Bureau were purchased by Hilsam Company Limited in 2005. The previous owners having been in the Au Pair business for many years deciding to take retirement. We obtained a number of new Agents abroad, and their Host Families soon became part of the Hilsam Group. It opened a whole new chapter, and lots more areas in the United Kingdom soon became familiar with the Hilsam Company Limited (t/a Just Au Pairs), and the number of Au Pairs placed each year grew.

In 2007 we purchased A-One Au Pairs & Nannies, again the previous owner retiring from the Au Pair market. Once again gaining more Agents throughout Europe and a whole new batch of Host Families.

Today The Hilsam Group of Companies brings approximately 800 Au Pairs a year, placing them all over the United Kingdom, making it one of the largest Au Pair Agencies in the UK. However we still consider ourselves a family run business, still giving the personal touch to our families; unlike when Hilary first started in the Au Pair market, a lot of things are now computerised, and now some agencies are only run by computers. However the Staff at the Agency enjoy talking to their Host Families and Au Pairs, so always feel free to call for advice.
